Bayesian-smoothed so a 5-star shop with 10 reviews doesn't outrank a 4.9 with 400.
Review volume · 30%

Log-scaled so the gap between 50→500 matters more than 5,000→6,000.
Proximity to your zip · 20%

Haversine distance from your zip's centroid; falls off after a soft cap.
Category fit · 10%

Primary category beats secondary; related categories are surfaced lower.
